We’ll admit it – we’re perfectionists. That means much like your setlist, our DJs are carefully curated and hand-selected by us to ensure the best fit for your big event.
As DJs with decades of experience ourselves, we (Eddy and Aleks – a.k.a. your party managers) are super involved in developing our DJs’ skills, supporting them as they grow and providing them with all the resources they need to totally nail your party – whether it’s a wedding, corporate function or any other kind of celebration.
Fact: A DJ’s ability to connect with you and your guests is key to getting your event’s vibe just right. That’s why we pick our people with a personality-first policy. Because DJs need the perfect combination of passion, presentation, charisma and skills in order to not only get the party started, but keep it going all night long.
You can teach skills, but you can’t teach attitude! That’s our secret sauce (shh..!).

What our DJs actually do
at your wedding or event
Don’t worry, we’re not here to make vague, fluffy claims about how our DJs are #1 in the industry. We’ll give it to you straight – here’s what our DJs do, both on and off the decks:
Combine your music brief with their expertise to choose songs for your event
Maintain flow throughout your event, from background music to dance floor tunes
Mix up genres and decades and cater to a wide demographic
Transition cleanly between each song
Read the crowd and adjust accordingly
Take and field guest requests
Focus on the guest experience rather than being a mixing hero
In the lead-up to your event, your dedicated party managers (us!) will be there to help you prepare your Party Brief. By the time the big day rolls around, you’ll feel confident that your tastes and preferences have been both understood and taken into account. Finally, your DJ will bring everything to life on the dance floor (including your guests’ killer moves).
What types of music
do your DJs play?
Our DJs are open format, meaning they can play any genre from top 40 pop to electronic music, indie, disco, rock, hip hop, funk and everything in between.
The music choices they make at your event are tailored according to your specific requests, captured in your Party Brief questionnaire.
All of our client resources – such as Spotify inspo playlists – are regularly updated and shared with our DJs so they’re fully equipped with the tunes they need for your event.
No matter what genres and artists you favour, our focus is on tasteful, upbeat tracks to create the perfect atmosphere for your event.

Our DJs play weddings, corporate functions (such as EOFY dinners, Christmas parties, sporting events, brand activations and conferences) and private parties (such as milestone birthdays, engagements, anniversaries and bachelor/bachelorette parties). Psst… if there’s some sort of party we haven’t listed, we’re sure we can find a DJ for that, too!

When you enquire, we’ll reach out to the DJs we think are best suited to your event to see who’s available. We’ll send you their profiles for you to lock in your fave.

Our standard DJ package is for a 5 hour minimum booking and includes DJ decks, speakers for up to 150 attendees, and a wireless microphone for speeches. If your event is a biggie (i.e. has over 150 guests), we can quote for additional speakers to accommodate.

Yes and yes! We have a comprehensive questionnaire that’ll guide you through your event and provide sections for all of your music preferences, including requests and do-not-plays. We use this questionnaire to brief your DJ, along with all of the information they’ll need for setting up and packing down at your venue. Read more about our process.

This is completely up to you! We do always recommend it for weddings in particular, so your DJ can call you the week of your event to run through timings, key song choices and general music requests.

While not all of our DJs offer MC services alongside DJing, if you’d like a DJ who’s also comfortable with MCing, let us know. We’ll then recommend any available DJs who can do both.
